David’s career at Jones Metal started in 1993 as a crate builder. He worked his way through the company, gaining experience in shipping and receiving, production, sales and purchasing before becoming Vice President. 

David earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical studies from the University of North Dakota as well as airframe and powerplant licenses from Dakota Aero Tech and a mini MBA through the University of St. Thomas.

He is also incredibly active in the community serving as the president of the Lake Crystal Lions Club, Commissioner on the Lake Crystal Planning and Zoning and Public Utilities Commissions as well as an alpine ski racing coach just to name a few.

When David isn’t working or volunteering, he is likely hunting, biking, traveling, gardening or rebuilding old vehicles.
