Mankato, MN – Jones Metal, Inc. is excited to announce that Greg Thomas will join the leadership team as Integrator/President at their metal fabrication facility in Mankato, MN.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Greg to the Jones Metal family” said Sarah Richards who will continue in her role as Visionary/CEO and work with Thomas to drive growth for the third-generation, family-owned metal fabrication facility.
“I’m confident Greg’s leadership expertise and industry experience will be a huge benefit to Jones Metal and will help us in our mission to grow our metal fabrication business and become one of the most automated US fabrication facilities of our size,” continued Richards.

Thomas grew up in Mankato and is happy to be moving back to the area. He is a South Central College graduate (SSC85) with a degree in Sales and Marketing and went on to study Financial Accounting at Harvard Business School Online. He worked as Business Growth Advisor at Enterprise Minnesota and National Sales Manager at Lou-Rich. Most recently Thomas was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Innovance, Inc. in Albert Lea, MN.
Thomas has volunteered with numerous Mankato-area organizations including Mankato Area United Way, MSU College of Science, Engineering & Technology Advisory Board and SSC Foundation Board.
Jones Metal has also promoted Dylan Hardel to Supervisor of their newly remodeled Quality Assurance department at the Mankato facility. “Quality fabrication is a priority at Jones Metal, so it was important to find just the right person to lead this team and continue to exceed the expectations of our partners when it comes to our workmanship.” said Richards. “Dylan has been working at Jones Metal for eight years and his great attention to detail makes him a perfect candidate for this position.” Hardel grew up in Nicollet, MN and formally worked at Kato Engineering.
